Live: Arsenal, Bayern Munich Score, Highlights, Goals - Business ...

FSCArsenal suffered a bad loss to Bayern Munich 3-1 in the first leg of their Championship League knockout stage matchup.

The two teams will play again in Munich next month, and Arsenal needs to win by two and score at least three goals to advance to the quarterfinals.

Toni Kroos opened the scoring in the 7th minute. The ball deflected off an Arsenal player and dribbled on the ground before Kroos banged it home on a short-hop:

They haven't allowed a goal in forever in the German league, and they have had a cutting edge going forward. Arsenal is just being outclassed.

Bayern looked like the dominant team in all areas. Arsenal pushed them for a five-minute span late in the half, but it's all Bayern right now.

If Bayern wins 3-0, Arsenal would have to win 3-0 or 4-1 or better in the return leg of the series in Munich next month.

Arsenal isn't enjoying as much possession as they were in the early stages of the second half. Bayern has had a few corners. Still 2-1.

They're pressing hard for the equalizer, which would be massive going into to the return leg in Munich next month...
