Taylor suffered the initial injury in a League game against Atromitos and had been working back again to complete exercise. Taylor has missed most of the season consequently and United boss Pardew says that the recurrence of Taylor's injury happening was extremely unfortunate and sums up Newcastle's season. Alan Pardew said: "For somebody to struggle back from the cruciate damage like he [Taylor] has and get right to the conclusion of the street, it has maybe not occurred usually to professional players.
