On January 7, CM Punk dropped his second official pipebomb, where he quipped that Bruno Sammartino as WWE champ only done once per month at Madison Square Garden. Following that coupon, Billy Graham espoused his outrage on the remark, saying Punk must be ashamed of himself. Bruno, thankfully, sees it differently. In a meeting with Inside The Ropes, Bruno responded to Punk and Graham, expressing of CM Punk: I think his interviews for a villain...I think he is very, very good. That is why it amazed me that Billy Graham would say such a thing when he used to be a villain who'd say things to pay his opponents, even myself...I took no offence at CM Punk, I know he was doing it to be a villain, that is what he does. But I believe he does when he gets on as a, what he says that microphone a good job, how he speaks, how he says it. As I think he does a huge job a and as a wrestler, I have seen him several times and I think he is pretty darn good. He is not as bad at all. Needless to say, wrestling was still an activity for giants when Samamrtino was in his excellent, and The Living Legend observed, "The only point is I do believe if he was within my period, he'd be considered a little bit too small, we had greater constructed men right back then." The Living Legend discusses WWE's two biggest stars. Punk has gotten praise from other icons like Bret Hart and Steve Austin, although The Second City Saint has every motive to be flattered by Bruno's comments. The Superman had equally kind words for John Cena: He looks very nicely, looks like he computes very hard. He moves well in the ring and I have only seen him maybe twice altogether. I've perhaps not seen enough of him, but from what I've seen you can tell he positively is among the leading people in the business but sometimes I'd prefer to see these people wrestle a 30-40 minute match. i [sic] will get a much better idea of how great they're, [sic] when they've to put in that kind of time His chance will be certainly got by bruno, as supporters can expect Twice in an Eternity to go around the 30-minute mark.
