UPDATED: 01:14 EST, 11 April 2013 Kevin Keegan thinks Manchester City have unearthed an opponent with the capacity of being much better than Nemanja Vidic in other Serb Matija Nastasic. The 20-year-old has been one of the stand-out artists for City this season and appears certain to companion skipper Vincent Kompany in key defense for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea. Keegan has certainly been impressed with the A12million signing from Fiorentina. Reward guy: Matija Nastasic has significantly more than exceeded expectation in his first season at Manchester City 'I really like him,' said Keegan. 'He has come in and played as though he's been there for ever. That Mancini put him in for his debut against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu tells you anything you need to find out about him. 'In five or six years time you could see him developing into a Vidic. He might become even larger than Vidic, who has probably been the very best middle half in this place for the last five or six years. Pedigree: Kevin Keegan feels Nastasic can turn into better than United's Serbia star Nemanja Vidic 'The major test will come next year when folks have had a good look at him. They'll take to and find out what he's bad at and where his weaknesses are. I've maybe not seen a lot of at the moment.' Nastastic could be the one positive from Roberto Mancini's summer signings, with Maicon, Javi Garcia, Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair all failing continually to have the effect predicted. That poor hiring policy is among the reasoned explanations why Mancini's stint as City boss is considered involved, even though he was accountable for ending a 35-year trophy drought when he won the FA Cup in 2011 and followed that up with last season's important Premier League title win.
