Didier Drogba's master backheel as Galatasaray transpired fighting against... - Yahoo! Sports (website)

When Cristiano Ronaldo scored just ten minutes into Real Madrid's Champions League quarterfinal 2nd leg against Galatasaray it seemed the effect was a foregone conclusion. True Madrid carried over a 3-0 lead from the initial leg in Spain, so the remaining 82 minutes of the tie could've quickly devolved into something even worse than an free information session on ski hotel time shares. But Galatasaray had other ideas. Anxious to salvage a little of self-respect in front of the home crowd, they scored three goals in the 2nd half to have a 3-1 on the night and push the aggregate rating to just 4-3 in Madrid's favor. The next goal was enough to provide Madrid a feeling all on its own as Didier Drogba revealed that he is still capable of a little of magic on a European night with a spectacular backheel off a Nordin Amrabat mix that was perfectly placed in the far corner of the web. Galatasaray's impossible recovery wasn't meant to be, however. Ronaldo finished them off with a second target throughout damage time for you to seal Real Madrid's 5-3 gain on combination, but Galatasaray still got the second leg by a report of 3-2. And they have the rear of Drogba's foot to thank for that.
