Boston Red Sox vs. Cleveland Indians: Live Coverage of Terry Francona's Reunion

The rain has started to fall in Cleveland. Judging by the lack of fans in the stands, this is not coming as a big surprise.

Boston third baseman Will Middlebrooks works a walk off Jimenez, giving the Red Sox an early opportunity, as they have runners on first and second with nobody out.

Boston first baseman Mike Napoli collects the first hit of the game, lining a double to right-center field to lead off the second inning.

Other than a loud out to the warning track in right-center field by Asdrubal Cabrera, Doubront has no issues and needs just 12 pitches in retiring the Indians in order in the bottom of the first.

According to NESN's broadcast team, Boston closer Joel Hanrahan was placed on the 15-day disabled list today with a groin strain. Knuckleball pitcher Steven Wright has been summoned from Triple-A Pawtucket to take his roster spot.

ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes tweets that both teams are wearing black arm bands tonight in honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.
