I'm sure you are already well aware, in three times, the Philadelphia Eagles are planned to select fourth overall in the 2013 NFL draft. It'll mark the first time the Eagles have picked in the most truly effective five because 1999, assuming of course that they hold onto said pick. If they decide that they're not deeply in love with anybody in the No. 4 area, they could trade down for more picks or experienced donors or a variety of both. When you consider that six of the utmost effective seven picks in last year's draft were treated, a development such as that would be far from unprecedented. Obviously, investments involve two consenting parties. It's much less easy as selecting you had like to produce a deal and doing this. There is an opportunity no body will soon be ready to spend what the Eagles need for the pick, especially in a draft that is small on stars. But when they do locate a companion, trading down would appear to create a large amount of sense for Philadelphia. No team finding in the top six has been connected to as numerous leads as the Eagles have, and it appears they'll have a wide selection of possibilities in the No. 4 area. It's probably safe to assume that some of these possibilities will soon be on the board after they have dropped, say, five or 10 locations, if that is the case. Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer suggested earlier in the day this month that the Eagles would probably be down with a trade but that the market might not occur. Nevertheless, that can change. All it takes is one group and one player. Some scenarios to think about on draft night: The trade route does not be favored by phil Sheridan of the Inquirer when he thinks the business needs to put in a difference-maker: Yes, they are able to improve their chances with pure numbers, but that would be a cop-out here. If [Howie] Roseman and his renewed staff can't determine a Pro Bowl-caliber player from the thousands available this week, the Eagles have a larger problem than a single draft bust. Roseman (smartly, thinking about the market) added depth and breadth to the list during free agency. Now could be the time and energy to add a difference-maker to the most effective. This draft must be about grabbing an elite person you imagine in strongly, not negotiating for just two or three people who are not as high on your list. True. But logically, if Roseman and his renewed team establish a Pro Bowl-caliber player who are able to be had later, wouldn't a trade be prudent? The rub there, needless to say, is that there is never a warranty your man will still be on the board once the trade's been made. When the Titans picked Chris Johnson with the 24th pick of the 2008 draft, declaring that Tennessee could have had him in Round a few people laughed. But something was obviously seen by general manager Mike Reinfeldt in Johnson. How was he supposed to know if he was the only GM with such strong feelings for the man we had end up calling CJ2K? So the safest strategy is always to discover your top four guys and swing the bat in the four place. If you're comfortable in your abilities and the abilities of one's team, that will pay off and we will maybe not be forced to have this argument again in future decades, with hindsight serving as energy.
