As the club publish their latest reports the state of Newcastle Unitedas finances is today unveiled St James' Park Billionaire Mike Ashley has secured his 2nd successive year of earnings with the St Jamesa Park membership. While operating costs have remained steady at A21.6m, operating income is down from A13.3m to A7.5m. A key issue can be an escalation in the clubas wage bill, which has grown by 20% to A64.1m following a signings of numerous key players, including Cabaye, Marveaux, Santon, Ba and Cisse. That puts the clubas wages-to-turnover at 68.7%, an increase of 8.1% rise relative to last yearas percentage.
