Golfing Digest’s Testing Confirms GolfBlogger’s Feelings About the Wilson Duo.

The newest issue of Golf Digest offers the results of tests conducted over the latest crop of baseballs. The data conforms just what I've thought all along within the Wilson Staff Duo: a very low driver spin charge. That's the reason, I do believe, that I get a great deal distance off the 1st tee. The only bargain ball by having a lower drive spin rate was the superior Flite Gamer, but that ball has even less spin off the pitching wedge. The Duo is virtually no whirling dervish, but it can be tops among bargain lite flite. The other $20 and under balls have together less driver and less wedge spin rates.

The other ball I would consider is the Callaway HEX Diablo, which according to the chart has a slightly higher wedge spin rate and a comparable driver spin.

In your $21 - $36 $ range, the Callaway Hex Chrome seems like it might satisfy my need for a low driver spin ball. At the highest end, the low spin winner is the Srixon Z-Star XV
